These Silver Dime Golf Ball Markers are real, pre 1965 US Silver Dimes with a pin silver soldered to the back of them. Each one is individually put into a jig and silver soldered prior to being polished to a high luster.
Every one is made from pre 1965 dimes. Why before 1965?, because that is when the composition of US Silver coins changed from 90% Silver to 95% copper with a nickel skin. Coins from 1965 to the present date appear Silver in color, but there is no Silver in currently circulated coinage and there hasn't been since 1964!
That means each one of these are made of a precious metal, a rare coin that will become more precious and rare every day you have it!
